Many years ago I was studying reiki. When I had received my second degree, my Spirit Guide came to me. His name is Singing Crow. The memory is like this: Singing Crow was my father life times ago. He walked with much Medicine and passed it to me. To help me remember this, he gifted me many crow feathers and even the body of a crow person who I honored in ceremony. He sent his shield into this world for me to carry. It is with me still.
